When it’s too late to return to make amends

Ibraaheem ibn Bashshaar said:

The aayah in [soorah] al-An’aam at which ‘Alee ibn al-Fudhayl died was:

{If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, “Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth]…}

…and at this point he died, and I was amongst those who prayed the [funeral] prayer over him, rahima-hullaah.
