Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Fayfee said:
Also, from that which distinguishes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is that its rulers respect its scholars.
So you will find the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques (may Allaah protect and preserve him) – every week he meets with the scholars.
To his right is the Muftee [Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh], and to his left is Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan and the rest of the scholars…[this happens] every week!
Do you know another country where the ruler receives the scholars and hosts them [like this every week]? Not at all.
