قال الحسن البصري :
" إنَّ مِن جزاءِ الحسَنةِ، الحسَنة بَعْدَها .
ومِن عقوبةِ السيئةِ، السيئةُ بعدها .
فإذا قبل اللهُ العبدَ .. فإنه :

al-Hasan al-Basree said:
Indeed, from the reward of [doing] a good deed is [doing] a good deed after it.
And from the punishment of [doing] a bad deed is [doing] a bad deed after it.
And when Allaah accepts [a good deed] from His worshipper, He then blesses hm with obedience [to Him], and diverts him [away] from [falling into] sin.
