Whenever he entered the masjid on the day of Jumu’ah, he would pray two rak’ahs and continue to repeat them until the imaam ascended the pulpit.
Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays
He was known to fast on Mondays and Thursdays – [and] this was throughout the entire year, unless he was travelling or ill.
