Act in accordance with your knowledge
Whoever does not act in accordance with his knowledge, then his knowledge has not benefited him; rather it has harmed him.
Woe be once to the one who does not know
Woe be once to the one who does not know, and woe be seven times to the one who knows but does not act [according to his knowledge].
Doing more good than harm
We pursued this affair [of seeking knowledge] and [when] we looked [around us], we did not find anyone doing an action without knowledge, except that [as a result] he would do more good than harm.
Remembering Allaah in the marketplace
The likes of the one who remembers Allaah in the marketplace, is comparable to a green [and healthy] tree amongst dead trees.
