Donating haraam money to your family

A seller who makes a mistake in calculating [the total amount due] – unintentionally gives the buyer more or less change [than he is due]; [in this case] should he give [the buyer] the remainder [of the change] or [just] keep it?

Where did you get these dates from?
I brought a container of ripe dates for the Shaykh, and the dates were very fresh – so the Shaykh ate a few and then asked: “Where did you get these dates from?”
