Is it permissible to recite soorah al-Faatihah whilst supplicating, or at the end of the supplication? And is that [considered to be] an innovation?

Upon sound proof
Indeed, in terms of my religion I am upon sound proof, and as for you, then you are upon doubt; go to one who is upon doubt as you are – and debate with him.

Aiding the Muslims around the world
[What is the ruling regarding] aiding the Muslims living in foreign lands? Some say ‘there are particular groups [amongst them] who are upon bid’ah, and [so] money should not be given to them’; so what is the guiding principle [in this matter]?
A cause of splitting the jamaa’ah
He who follows his desires is prohibited from guidance, and falls into opposing the Sharee’ah, and [as a result] is a cause of splitting the jamaa’ah.
