The intelligent one
It is upon the intelligent one to exert himself in performing voluntary acts of worship – so long as he is in a state of [good] health.
Reciting Soorah al-Faatihah during the supplication
Is it permissible to recite soorah al-Faatihah whilst supplicating, or at the end of the supplication? And is that [considered to be] an innovation?

My health has forsaken me, and I have become weak, and my bones are bruised, [yet] today I [still] stand for prayer, but am only able to recite [soorahs] al-Baqarah and Aal-‘Imraan.

When you compare yourself with others
When you compare yourself with others in matters of wealth, position, and health, you should look at people less favoured than yourself.
Take from your life for your death
If you live until the evening, then do not expect to live until the following morning. And if you live until the morning, then do not expect to see the evening. Take from your health for your sickness and from your life for your death.
Golden words
Know that both illness and good health do not come before or after their [decreed] time.
