A customer bought clothing in a shop, and after paying for it, he forgot to take them with him. A long time has now passed, and the customer has not returned to collect his purchased items, so what should the shopkeeper do with them?
Spending on the People of Knowledge

Even if it were once during his lifetime
It is befitting for the person to act upon this aayah, even if it were once [during his lifetime]; [so] if something from his wealth pleases him and causes him to delight, then let him give it in charity, and maybe he will attain this Birr.
