I have a question regarding the prayer [whilst seated] on chairs – which has become widespread in the masaajid; it has become widespread in the masaajid. [So] is [the performance of] the prayer [whilst sitting] on a chair better, or [whilst sitting] on the floor – because of the prostration and the rest of the [required] pillars of the prayer?

Sitting during the prayer without a genuine reason
Some people who are capable of standing [during the prayer, choose instead to] sit during the second rak’ah of the Fajr prayer until the imaam is about to bow [into rukoo’], so he bows along with the imaam. So is his prayer correct?
Doctor prescribed that I should pray sitting down
If the doctor is of the opinion that the sick person should pray all his prayers sitting down, or seated on a chair, is he then permitted to do so? And will he attain reward [for doing so]?
