If you spoke to a man about the Sunnah, and he said [to you] ‘Spare us from this [speech], and [just] tell us about the Book of Allaah’, then know that he is misguided.

The knowledge of medicine
After [the knowledge of] halaal and haraam, I do not know of any knowledge more noble than [the knowledge of] medicine, particularly since the people of the Book are better versed than us in it.
The night prayer at home and whilst travelling

The most amazing of those who memorised in our time
From amongst the most amazing of those who memorised [knowledge] in our time was Ibn Taymiyyah; He would read a book only once and it would be etched in his mind (i.e. he would have memorised it).
Qataadah was the best at memorising
From amongst the people of al-Basrah, Qataadah was the best at memorising; whatever he heard, he would memorise. The book “Saheefatu-Jaabir” was read to him [only] once and he memorised it [all].
I know which book it is in
I have in my house [something] I wrote 50 years [ago] and have not read it since I [first] wrote it. Certainly, I know which book it is in, [and] which page it is on [and] which line it is on
