‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar reports that the Prophet ﷺ said:
«No man is alone with a woman, except that Shaytaan is the third one [present] amongst them.» [Transmitted by Ahmad and at-Tirmidhee]
al-Hasan al-Basree commented:
Do not be alone with a woman; even if you were to say: ‘I am teaching her the Qur.aan.’
