It was reported, as death approached Yoonus ibn ‘Ubayd, he looked towards his feet and began to cry; so it was said to him: ‘What has made you cry O Abaa ‘Abdillaah?’ He replied:
My two feet have not become dusty [fighting] in the Path of Allaah.
