Question: Which is better: completing the taraaweeh prayer or accompanying the janaazah (burial)?
Response: I am of the opinion that accompanying the janaazah is better as the opportunity can pass by and it is not continuous, as for the taraaweeh [prayer], then there is a possibility to make it up even on ones own. And there is no doubt that the relatives of the deceased assume the (lead in his) burial as it is a fardh kifaayah.
