Beware of tribulations (فِتَن), for no one who exposes himself to them is safe. By Allaah, no one involves himself in them except that they sweep him away, just as a flood sweeps away debris.

No joy compares
No joy compares to the companionship of brothers [in Islaam], and no sorrow compares to being parted from them.
Even though the month of Ramadhaan has ended
Even though the month of Ramadhaan has ended, [know that] the right of Allaah does not end except with death.
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty [i.e. death].
For those who desire a righteous heart
May Allaah grant you goodness. It has been narrated that al-Ashtar once entered upon ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib رضي الله عنه – after part of the night had passed – while he was standing in prayer.
The Salaf and the month of Ramadhaan
The condition of the Salaf – as was mentioned about them [in the books] with reliable chains of narrators – is that they used to ask Allaah عز و جل to allow them to reach Ramadhaan before it began.
What Allaah commanded us with in Rajab
Rajab is a sacred month. Allaah has commanded us in this month to perform a great act of worship. What is it? Should we perform Hajj? There is no Hajj in it. Should we perform ‘Umrah?

So my advice to my brothers – not [specifically] regarding the internet, nor the satellite channels – is to fear Allaah regarding themselves, and to know that they have not been created for this…
