I will not remain silent
The sword was put to my neck five times [and each time] it was not said to me, ‘Leave your madhhab’ but it was said to me, ‘Remain silent about those who are in opposition to you’. So I would say, ‘I will not remain silent’.
When I say something contradicting the Book of Allaah
When I say something contradicting the Book of Allaah the Exalted or what is narrated from the Messenger ﷺ, then ignore my saying.
The cure to that which you suspect to be a mistake
Telephone the one whom you suspect has made the mistake and discuss the issue with him, then consider your position after the discussion.
The result of the sins he used to do
Certainly, I consider a man who has forgotten knowledge which he used to possess to be the result of the sins he used to do.
Truly I am a mortal
Therefore, look into my opinions: all that agrees with the Book and the Sunnah, accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it.
We are mortals
It is haraam for someone who does not know my evidence to give fataawa on the basis of my words.
There is no excuse for going astray-2
There is no excuse for anyone, after the Sunnah, to be misguided upon error which he thought was guidance.
Do not help anyone in disobedience to Allaah
From the Sunnah is that you do not help anyone in disobedience to Allaah, whether they be parents or any of the creation.
That is my madhhab
When a hadeeth is found to be saheeh, then that is my madhhab.
