Shaykh Ihsaan Ilaahee Zaheer informed me about our Shaykh, Muhammad al-Gondalwi that he would not read the newspapers or magazines – so as not to [inadvertantly] memorise them! That is because if he were to read anything, he was [instantly] able to memorise it.

Prayed having forgotten he was in a state of janaabah
If a man was in a state of major ritual impurity (janaabah), and began praying having forgotten he was in a state of janaabah, and then remembered whilst he was in prayer, what should he [now] do?
Praying in an airplane

Offered my prayer without knowing of impurity on clothing
After having prayed, I noticed a very small bit of impurity on my undergarments, so what should I do? Should I repeat the prayer, or is it sufficient for me to just clean the undergarments?
Just a small amount of blood
Why have the scholars mentioned that if a small amount of blood falls on clothing, then it is excused, however a small amount of urine is not excused?
