Question: O Shaykh Muhammad, what is your opinion regarding a woman going out to the market for a need, whilst she is in hijaab and not revealing anything, and that she does not go at a time when it is busy with men?
Response: My opinion regarding this is there is no harm for a woman to go out to the market for a need, so long as she is in hijaab and has not beautified nor perfumed herself. In addition, that she remains far from the places of fitnah, and thereafter returns to her home after fulfilling her need.
